„Alternative Pop-Rock with a touch of indie. A bit dreamy, but mostly emotional and intoxicating!“ 

 

That´s how a young band from North-Rhine-Westphalia in the west of Germany describes its music:

MISS MADISON.

Miss Madison, formed in summer 2018, that is: Yannick, Simon, Jannik and Vincent. Four boys, in their twenties, all from Mönchengladbach.

 

Their lyrics are about dedication, love, desire and experiences in the modern world. Up to three vocals as well as drums, bass, guitars and keyboards/synthesizern - the boys have it all. Catchy tunes, but also driving dance parts come along with complex rhythms and versatile tunes. „Here and then even with musical influences from U2 or Coldplay […].“ (Herzog Kultur und Stadtmagazin Jülich) 

 

In spring 2020 they released their first studio single „Burnin ́ Eyes“. A song about longing, with melancholic piano, as well as driving guitar and drums. In October 2020 the boys released their first EP „Midnight Stories“. The Single „Won´t Wake Up Alone“, published in September was a foretaste of the EP. It starts as a piano-ballad and ends with devastating guitars and impulsive choirs. Within short time it pushed the streams on streaming platforms to a next level.

Nowadays the boys are working on records to do a EP-release in summer 2023. The first singles „Mars“ and „Born to Run" were published in September 2022 and spring 2023 and they convinced with impulsive indie-sound. In July 2023 there were the last single of the following EP, it’s called „Up in the Sky“, a Folk-Song with a driving guitar and polyphonic choirs.

 

Next to the current shows on city festivals and events on the stages in North-Rhine-Westphalia and in the Netherlands the boys were part of the renowned Bandcontest „Young Talents“ which took place in Viersen near Mönchengladbach. The four musicians were elected as best placed newcomerband this evening.
